Our name reflects our deep connection to the fundamentals of electricity. The term “electrolysis” was introduced in the 19th century by Michael Faraday, following a suggestion by Rev. William Whewell. It originates from the Greek words ἤλεκτρον (ēlektron, meaning “amber,” historically linked to electrical phenomena) and λύσις (lysis, meaning “dissolution”), symbolizing transformation through electrical processes—an idea that resonates with our approach to engineering innovation.
